For almost three years, I had the joy of co-creating with Parmly LIfePointes of Ecumen, an amazing new concept in wellness centers for adults. The 14,000 square foot, $2.8 million dollar facility included a warm water salt swimming pool, therapy pool, fitness center, massage therapy spaces, cafe and many classes to enhance the active aging experience. We created a vital aging coaching model to enhance the experience of change. Our membership boomed and surpassed all goals, and individuals saw amazing results in their health and happiness. We conducted a year long chronic illness study funded by the State of Minnesota with wonderful results. I wrote a weekly column in the local paper on Vital Aging as well as spoke at a variety of events. The Vitalize! Wellness Centre continues to grow and evolve.
